Curtis Jackson or “50 Cent” as he’s better known is being sued for the concept of the hit television show ‘Power,’ according to The Jasmine Brand.  ‘Power’ has had a break out Season 3 for the Starz Network, which concluded this past Sunday, and has averaged 2.26 million live + same day viewers for the season.

R. Byron Hord and Curtis Scoon filed a Federal Lawsuit against 50 Cent, G-Unit Films and Starz Entertainment claiming they copyrighted a script called “Dangerous” which had a similar concept to a drug dealer attempting to go legit.  In other words it mirrored the Ghost, Tasha, Angela and Tommy concept.  ‘Power’ is a hit, so this lawsuit is worth millions to whoever came up with the concept.  “50” hasn’t had luck with lawsuits recently, the eventual verdict in this one could be costly to all parties.
