Dwight Howard is a future Hall of Famer, a five time first team All NBA player and he’s on his third NBA team in 3 years after being traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Charlotte Hornets yesterday. Howard’s career has been in a rapid decline once he left the Orland Magic in 2012. Injuries have eroded his skills to the point that he’s now an offensive liability. While Howard can still play defense, the new NBA that focuses on 3 point shooting makes him less of a force while making over $23 million for the next 2 seasons.
Dwight Howard can still be a factor on an NBA team, but he’s grossly overpaid. Howard says that he’s working on his 3 point shot. He better take lessons from Steph Curry if he wants to continue making big money playing basketball.
